Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in Glenview, IL is seeking a technically skilled product development professional to direct and execute projects across the North America Zone Taste Elevation portfolio. You will implement and drive technical initiatives, manage multiple assignments, and collaborate cross-functionally to bring innovative dairy products to market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Food, Dairy, Meat Science, or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience in the dairy sector preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments concurrently.
• Solid understanding of Design of Experiments.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Internship or Co-op experience in the food or consumer products industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bench top experiments in the lab.
• Test new products for flavor, texture, color, nutrition, shelf-life, and compliance with standards.
• Lead Pilot Plant and Product Plant scale-up of formulas.
• Create product formulations and contribute to product development.
• Develop and commercialize new products and optimize ingredients for cost savings.
• Collaborate with Packaging, Quality, Operations, Project Management, Marketing, and Sales to drive projects.
• Support feasibility assessments, prototype development, costing, recipe documentation, and technical approvals for initial production.
