Qualifications

• BS/MS in Food Science or Chemical Engineering.
• 4+ years of relevant experience; 2 years if PhD.
• Strong understanding of food chemistry, analytical testing, formulations, and processing.
• Sauce and condiment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ingredient functionality and interactions.
• Excellent communication, influencing, project management and problem-solving.
• Ability to lead, coach and motivate others.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and commercialize new products and renovate existing sauces & condiments.
• Scope and drive highly technical projects to meet platform and innovation goals.
• Potentially lead junior developers on projects.
• Conduct feasibility assessments, prototype development, and factory trials.
• Develop recipes and labels, perform shelf-life assessments, and provide technical support for initial production.
• Apply scientific principles to new situations and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
