Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a Flow Cytometry Core Manager for our Kendall Square site. You will oversee daily operation, PM, and troubleshooting across six flow cytometry platforms, providing expert guidance to researchers and managing vendor relations.

The role combines hands-on instrument ownership with proactive user support, rigorous record-keeping, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. A strong background in multiparameter panel design and data analysis is required.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in multiparameter panel design, antibody titration, compensation, and data analysis (FlowJo).
Experience operating cell sorters (Sony SH800S or equivalent).
Experience with spectral flow cytometry platforms (NovoCyte Opteon or equivalent).
Familiarity with at least three of listed instruments (SH800S, Opteon, FACSymphony A3, Attune CytPix, FACSLyric).
Experience performing preventive maintenance, CST checks, and instrument QC procedures.
Proficiency in FlowJo and GraphPad Prism for data visualization and analysis.

Responsibilities

Perform daily startup/shutdown procedures for all instruments per manufacturer specs and SOPs.
Troubleshoot instruments and coordinate with manufacturer support and service teams.
Train and onboard site users; provide guidance across varying experience levels.
Assist with panel design, staining protocols, and spectral unmixing for large panels.
Support ex vivo processing and acquisition of mouse, human PBMC, and NHP samples.
Run samples for users and provide hands-on flow staining support as needed.
Assist with data analysis, gating strategies, and FlowJo workflows.
Maintain organized reagent inventory and Benchling records; monitor freezer stocks.
