Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Flight Test Engineer to lead planning, coordination, and execution of developmental ground and flight tests at Edwards AFB. You will prepare test cards, schedules, and documentation, and provide mission control room support with real-time safety and efficiency decisions.

The role requires a STEM degree with relevant experience or advanced degrees, strong communication, and an active clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and executing flight test activities.
• Ability to develop test cards and documentation.
• Proficient with data analysis tools and test control room operations.
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and execution of development flight tests.
• Develop and maintain flight test cards and documentation.
• Provide test control room support and real-time decision making.
• Coordinate cross-functional test activities and reviews.
• Support safety requirements and test readiness reviews.
• Operate within a multidisciplinary team and drive issues to closure.
