Job summary

Ameren Illinois seeks a Superintendent, Illinois Fleet Operations, to oversee fleet maintenance across about 3,300 units in both in-house and vendor settings. The role covers safety leadership, training, and comprehensive record-keeping for regulatory and internal needs.

The ideal candidate has a long track record in fleet maintenance with supervisory experience, willingness to travel across the Ameren Illinois territory, and familiarity with EMPRV, MS Office, PeopleSoft, and TRIS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Ten or more years of relevant Fleet Maintenance experience required.
• Four or more years of supervisory experience required.
• Ase certification preferred; travel across Ameren Illinois service territory.

Responsibilities

• Direct all repair and maintenance activities for approximately 3300 units in both in-house and vendor areas.
• Direct all employee safety and training activities to continually enhance the safety culture.
• Ensure all Fleet Maintenance records and information required for external regulatory purposes and internal needs are accurately maintained and available.
• Maintain and develop improvements within EMPRV for maintenance activities including Sarbanes Oxley and Security reporting.
• Responsible for the hiring and on-boarding of new Fleet Services co-workers.
