Job summary

Exelon in Illinois seeks a Fleet Services Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations across multiple repair facilities, ensuring vehicle availability, reliability, and appearance in a cost-efficient manner. The role may require extended hours or 24x7 coverage during storms or energy delivery emergencies.

You will lead a team of 15–20 craft employees, manage safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with plant management.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years internal utility company experience or relevant external experience
• Able to complete Exelon supervisory assessment
• Demonstrated leadership in a high-performance culture
• Demonstrated high commitment to safety
• Ability to acquire and maintain a valid Driver's License and UST Operator Training certificates
• Ability to understand Federal, State, and local vehicle regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and fleet management software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise employees in day-to-day Fleet Services operations across multiple facilities and shifts
• Implement safety initiatives, preventive maintenance programs, and training
• Manage cross-functional relationships with line management and leadership
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and manage facility budgets
• Create and maintain a safe, reliable vehicle fleet and facilities
• Assist in annual Fleet Services budget and replacement strategy
