Job summary

Rainbow Restoration of West Mesa is seeking an experienced Lead Fire and Water Restoration Technician to join our Mesa, AZ team. This hands-on leadership role involves guiding crews through fire, water, and smoke damage projects and ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.

You will perform water extraction, drying, moisture mapping, and content restoration while coordinating with homeowners, insurers, and managers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of fire and water restoration experience.
• IICRC certification (WRT/FSRT or equivalent) preferred.
• Proven ability to lead a crew on multiple restoration projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise restoration crews on fire, water, and smoke damage job sites.
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture mapping using industry-standard equipment.
• Execute fire and smoke damage cleanup, deodorization, and content restoration.
• Operate and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and thermal imaging tools.
• Document job progress, moisture readings, and scope of work for insurance and project records.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters.
• Ensure job sites meet IICRC standards and company quality benchmarks.
