Job summary

Rainbow Restoration of West Mesa is seeking an experienced Lead Fire and Water Restoration Technician to join our Mesa, AZ team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide crews on fire, water, and smoke damage projects, ensuring timely, high-quality restoration for homeowners and businesses.

You will perform water extraction, drying, moisture mapping, and contents restoration, coordinating with homeowners, managers, and insurers. IICRC certification preferred; valid license required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in fire and water damage restoration.
• IICRC certification preferred (WRT, FSRT, or equivalent).
• Proven ability to lead a crew and manage multiple restoration projects.
• Proficiency with restoration equipment including extractors, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work on-call, including nights and weekends for emergency response.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise restoration crews on fire, water, and smoke damage job sites.
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture mapping using industry-standard equipment.
• Execute fire and smoke damage cleanup, deodorization, and content restoration.
• Operate and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and thermal imaging tools.
• Document job progress, moisture readings, and scope of work for insurance and project records.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters.
• Ensure job sites meet IICRC standards and company quality benchmarks.
