Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Installer to install, service, and repair fire sprinkler systems at multiple sites. The role requires reading blueprints, performing physical work up to 70 lbs, and coordinating installation activities with the project team.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in fire sprinkler systems, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexible hours and potential weekend work are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of documented experience in the installation and service of fire sprinkler systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
• Able to work flexible hours and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, foam).
• Execute installation project plans and forecast installation hours.
• Review project drawings to obtain facts and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Lead or coordinate team members; maintain safety and proper documentation.
• Be flexible with shifts and weekends as required; perform inspections if needed.
