Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring a Sprinkler Installer II to perform hands-on installation of fire protection systems in commercial and industrial settings. You will handle piping, valves, and sprinkler components with an emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

The role requires at least 5 years of experience, strong communication, and the ability to train apprentices while maintaining accurate project records. Candidates must be able to work flexible shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in installation and service of fire sprinkler systems.
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical labor and work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Install fire protection piping, valves, and accessories for commercial/industrial sites.
• Install wet, dry, pre‑action, and deluge sprinkler systems efficiently.
• Maintain documentation and ensure records are accurate.
• Follow safety policies and perform duties professionally.
• Provide guidance to apprentices and support their development.
