Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to perform maintenance and repair of sprinkler and suppression systems at customer sites in diverse environments. You will work on wet and dry systems, service pumps, read blueprints, and liaise with customers to ensure timely, safe, and effective resolutions.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Fire Sprinkler service experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Overnight travel may be required.
• Valid driver's license and driving record meeting company requirements.
• Ability to perform physical labor, lifting up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls and review reported issues.
• Contact customer representatives to confirm issues and gather site information.
• Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
• Work on wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems; service fire pumps.
• Troubleshoot using manuals, bulletins, and notices.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
• Deliver high levels of customer service on site.
• Maintain truck inventory for timely responses.
