Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Fire Protection Sprinkler Foreman to lead and perform skilled tasks in the installation, maintenance and repair of sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial buildings. You will supervise crews, interpret blueprints, and ensure work meets contract specifications and safety standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of NFPA 13, and the ability to manage budgets and schedules across multiple job sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Fire Sprinkler Installation field; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.
• 1+ years of experience as a Fire Protection Sprinkler Foreman running crews on heavy commercial construction projects.
• Knowledgeable with NFPA 13 and all codes.
• Proven ability to effectively manage and lead teams of 8 to 10 individuals, ensuring high productivity, team cohesion, and successful project outcomes.
• Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Must adhere to all company policy and procedures.
• Must be available, and have the means to report to multiple job sites as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and materials to ensure the assigned tasks meet or beat budgets for each.
• Track hours and manpower on all tasks.
• Provide training in areas needing improvements to ensure quality, production, and safety.
• Responsible for performing a wide range of skilled construction tasks.
• Attend, as needed, all job site and office meetings related to assigned projects.
• Interpret company policy for workers and enforces safety regulations.
• Provide guidance and direction to crews in meeting budgets and project schedule.
• Ability to manage the fire protection installation team, including sprinkler fitters and helpers on the job site.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and architectural drawings.
• Responsible for installation of wet, CPVC, and steel systems in commercial and industrial buildings.
• Plans work to make the most efficient use of assigned manpower and other resources.
• Inspects work in progress and completed work to ensure conformance to contract and specification.
• Maintains appropriate documentation for the work performed.
• Demonstrate positive team work and ability to be a team leader and mentor.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Completes projects in a timely manner while providing the highest standard of quality work and customer satisfaction.
