Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Fire Protection Sprinkler Foreman to oversee day-to-day activities on the assembly, installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems. As a working foreman, you will directly perform skilled construction tasks and supervise crews.

Candidates should have 3+ years experience in fire sprinkler installation, 1–3 years as foreman, knowledge of NFPA 13, the ability to read blueprints, and willingness to travel to multiple job sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Fire Sprinkler Installation field; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience
• 1 to 3 years' experience as a Foreman
• Knowledgeable with NFPA 13 and all codes
• Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills
• Must adhere to all company policy and procedures
• Must be available, and have the means to report to multiple job sites as assigned

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and materials to ensure the assigned tasks meet or beat budgets for each
• Tracks hours and manpower on all tasks
• Provides training in areas needing improvements to ensure quality, production, and safety
• Responsible for performing a wide range of skilled construction tasks
• Attends, as needed, all job site and office meetings related to assigned projects
• Interprets company policy for workers and enforces safety regulations
• Provides guidance and direction to crews in meeting budgets and project schedule
• Ability to manage installation fitters and helpers at job site
• Ability to interpret blueprints and architectural drawings
• Responsible for installation of wet, cpvc, and steel systems in commercial and industrial buildings
• Plans work to make the most efficient use of assigned manpower and other resources
• Inspects work in progress and completed work to ensure conformance to contract and specification
• Maintains appropriate documentation for the work performed
• Demonstrate positive team work and ability to be a team leader and mentor
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment
• Completes projects in a timely manner while providing the highest standard of quality work and customer satisfaction
• Performs other duties as assigned
