Job summary

Cogent Analytics seeks an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead field installation crews on commercial, industrial, and residential projects, ensuring code‑compliant workmanship and strict safety adherence.

The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on leader with NFPA knowledge, able to read plans, manage manpower and materials, and maintain daily production while coordinating with project managers, inspectors, and general contractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fire sprinkler installation experience with foreman/lead exposure.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and proper installation practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, layout systems, and plan work efficiently.
• Proven leadership to manage crews and maintain productivity.
• Experience with steel, CPVC, and other sprinkler piping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire sprinkler installation crews on commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and NFPA codes.
• Plan daily work, set production goals, and maintain pacing.
• Ensure proper installation of piping, hangers, heads, valves, and components.
• Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, inspections, and subcontractors.
• Maintain safety standards and enforce OSHA requirements.
• Communicate progress and needs with project managers and inspectors.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Complete daily reports and maintain documentation.
