Cuhaci & Peterson Architects, Engineers & Planners, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Engineer specialized in Fire Protection Engineering in Ambler, PA.

The role requires a BS in Fire Protection Engineering, 10–15 years of licensed experience, and registration as Engineer of Record in several states. You will deliver Construction Documents, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and oversee permitting, bidding and construction administration while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• BS in Fire Protection Engineering is required; licensed engineer with 10–15 years of experience.
• Engineer of Record in multiple states and able to oversee complex projects.
• Experience producing Construction Documents, coordinating with disciplines, permitting, bidding and construction administration.
• Strong knowledge of discipline codes and excellent client communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate Construction Documents and RFI responses.
• Lead design discussions with Architect and Project Manager; manage scope, schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with architectural/engineering disciplines; ensure quality control of docs.
• Mentor engineering designers to produce high-quality construction documents within budget.
• Represent client interests at hearings as needed.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure timely project delivery.
