Arcadis is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will lead the fire protection discipline for various facility design projects and mentor junior staff.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or fire protection engineering and possess a Professional Engineering license. We offer a competitive salary range of $80,461 - $155,000, alongside comprehensive benefits including health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Extensive experience producing IFC design packages for federal agency facilities.
• Deep knowledge of life safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams to develop construction-ready design packages.
• Develop budgets, proposals, schedules, project plans.
• Conduct fire protection site surveys and collaborate with clients.

Skills

Proficiency in Revit

Knowledge of NFPA codes

Fire Protection Professional Engineering Licensure

Strong communication skills

Education

Bachelor of Science in mechanical or fire protection engineering
