Qualifications

• Supervise daily financial counseling staff to ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare charity guidelines, HIPAA, and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
• Train and mentor staff to support development and consistent performance.
• Prepare reports on team performance, productivity and quality metrics for leadership review.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily workflow to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Trains, mentors, and evaluates staff to support development.
• Assigns tasks, monitors work queues, and adjusts staffing as needed to meet service demands.
• Responds to and resolves escalated patient financial concerns, including charity care and payment plan requests.
• Ensures compliance with payer requirements and departmental policies.
• Prepares reports on team performance and quality metrics for leadership review.
• Collaborates with internal departments and external partners to address barriers to financial clearance.
