The University of Virginia is seeking a Loan Coordinator to join the Loan team within the Office of Student Financial Services in Charlottesville. The role focuses on Direct and Private loan processing, counseling students and parents, and ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations.
The position is hybrid with some in-office presence, located on UVA grounds. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of financial aid experience.
The Office of Student Financial Services at the University of Virginia seeks a Loan Coordinator to join our Loan team responsible for all Direct and Private loan processing. The Loan Coordinator provides comprehensive and quality financial aid administration and counseling for undergraduate and graduate students, parents, university departments, and external organizations. This position also contributes to compliance with federal and state regulations, creation and enforcement of office policies, and procedures to ensure timely and accurate delivery of student financial aid.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: At least two years of financial aid experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
The salary range is between $55,000 - $62,000 and is commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position will not consider candidates who require immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
This position is located on the UVA Grounds in Charlottesville, VA. This is an exempt-level, benefited position; learn more about UVA Benefits. This is a hybrid position with some in office presence required.
