Job summary

Vercel in San Francisco seeks an experienced engineer to lead the design and development of the Finance Data Platform, the backbone for revenue reporting, usage-based billing, and forecasting. You’ll shape the technical vision and build auditable pipelines using Kafka, ClickHouse, Tinybird, and Snowflake.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in data or analytics engineering with end-to-end pipelines.
Experience designing large-scale data infrastructures using Kafka, ClickHouse, Snowflake.
Experience with financial data pipelines and familiarity with ERP/billing systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Architect and build finance data platform supporting revenue recognition and billing.
Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, RevOps to translate requirements into scalable systems.
Ensure data accuracy, governance, auditing, and compliance across pipelines.
Mentor engineers and set standards for data quality and reliability.
Partner with Security, Compliance, Legal, and Internal Audit on regulatory requirements.
