Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Principal Electronics Engineer to lead field support for the MESA Radar program. The role involves on-site leadership in Seattle and a long-term assignment after initial Baltimore training, with substantial CONUS/OCONUS travel.

Candidates should have a STEM degree, 5+ years in related engineering, and experience with AESA radar or similar systems. Clearances and weekend rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field and 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with airborne AESA radar/communications systems or related engineering background.
• Willing to travel up to 10% CONUS and 25–40% OCONUS; ability to obtain/maintain clearances.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead Field Support Engineer at Seattle site and provide on-site technical support at other locations.
• Provide technical leadership, integration, test, and sustainment support for MESA Radar.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with Boeing and customer stakeholders.
