Job summary

MWH Constructors is seeking an experienced Area Superintendent to lead field operations on a wastewater treatment plant project in Austin, Texas. This leadership position focuses on driving project execution, safety excellence, schedule adherence, and delivering high-quality construction outcomes for the community.

You will direct staff and subcontractors, coordinate with engineering and project management, and ensure work complies with drawings, specs, and safety requirements while maintaining

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervising heavy civil construction projects.
• Knowledge of civil, mechanical, electrical disciplines.
• Cost control, manpower planning and scheduling knowledge.
• Experience with CPM scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Direct staff and subcontractors to meet schedule and safety standards.
• Maintain zero-accident site through safety program.
• Represent MWHC on-site with clients and agencies.
• Plan, supervise, and review work plans and materials.
• Coordinate work across teams and subs.
• Ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and schedule.
• Resolve onsite construction problems as needed.
• Ensure daily activity plans meet safety and schedule.
