Job summary

The NRP Group LLC is seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee on-site construction of multi-family residential complexes. You will manage field operations, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality standards across project sites.

Education in Construction or Civil field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience are required. Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and related tools is expected, along with strong communication skills and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction or Civil related field preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing the construction of multi-family projects with stable employment history.
• Knowledge of site work, utility infrastructure, structural building, mechanical and interior finishes required.

Responsibilities

• Organize sequencing of field operations, staging of materials and satellite office.
• Prepare project updates, documentation and related administrative duties.
• Solve problems, prioritize and multi-task while maintaining communication and organizational skills.
• Implement quality assurance and control procedures to meet contract requirements.
• Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure quality and professionalism.
• Represent the company with subcontractors, consultants, owners, vendors, and agencies.
• Assist management with obtaining necessary permits for construction purposes.
• Coordinate with municipalities and utilities for service installation and inspection.
• Conduct preconstruction meetings with project subcontractors and safety teams.
• Review scope of work and drawings; provide technical direction as required.
• Ensure safety protocols per company program and code requirements.
• Coordinate deliveries and material staging for a clean work site.
• Inform management of construction sequencing and scheduling developments.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents and building codes.
• Approve monthly subcontractor and vendor payments.
• Report to project manager and advise on project issues.
• Complete accurate progress reports and documentation.
• Control construction process to meet milestones and occupancy dates.
