Job summary

The client is seeking a seasoned Construction Field Superintendent to oversee projects across the Baltimore Metropolitan Area, Montgomery County, and Frederick County, Maryland. You will manage day-to-day site operations, supervise field crews and subcontractors, maintain schedules, ensure quality workmanship, and uphold OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or Field Superintendent.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• Experience leading multiple subcontractors and field crews.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices and building systems.
• Education in construction management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily field operations on commercial construction projects from mobilization through completion.
• Coordinate and supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and equipment deliveries.
• Work with project managers, engineers, owners, and inspectors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules and monitor progress.
• Enforce safety policies and conduct routine quality inspections.
• Prepare daily reports documenting manpower, weather, inspections, and issues.
