Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 3) to serve as a project lead on electrical testing and commissioning tasks. You will set up test equipment, collect data, and supervise junior technicians while ensuring safety and quality on site.

The role requires strong communication, report writing, and the ability to travel up to 50% of the time. A high school diploma or GED is required; NETA 3 certification is preferred, with OSHA/MSHA/NFPA70E training a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.
• NETA certification level 3 preferred; OSHA 30/ MSHA / NFPA 70E training a plus.
• 5+ years of field service or electrical testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Moderate/advanced electrical measurements and data collection.
• Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring successful execution.
• Supervise and mentor field technicians and co-lead technicians.
• Write detailed test reports and submit promptly.
• Set up/remove test equipment and ensure proper handling and storage.
