Job summary

POWERX in Houston seeks a Field Service Technician (NETA 3) to lead project tasks, perform inspections, tests, and measurements on de-energized equipment, and manage test setups with safety and accuracy.

You will mentor technicians, write detailed reports, and collaborate with operations to ensure on-time project completion. Requires 5+ years experience, NETA Level 3 preferred, and OSHA/MSHA/NFPA70-E credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 5+ years of field experience.
• NETA certification level 3 preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate to advanced electrical measurements.
• Lead and manage projects from start to finish.
• Write detailed reports on test results and findings.
• Mentor field technicians on site.
