Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to service fuel cells in Marysville, OH. You will diagnose, repair, and upgrade fuel cell systems at a customer site, while maintaining safety and 5S standards.

You’ll report issues, order parts, and communicate with regional teams. The role requires 3+ years of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• 3+ years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Knowledge of lift truck operation is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fault resolution for fleet.
• Perform field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades.
• Report breakdowns, order parts, and update logs.
• Provide emergency support as needed.
• Travel to customer sites as required and maintain safety standards.
