Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician to oversee on-roof quality inspections and contractor training for our new US commercial roofing division.

The role leads training programs, QA inspections, and liaison activities with the contractor network, ensuring high workmanship standards across projects. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of hands-on commercial roofing experience, strong training skills, and the ability to travel within the United States.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years direct hands-on experience in commercial roofing
• Extensive experience training single-ply roofing (TPO & PVC)
• Ability to train individuals and groups in roofing techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel

Responsibilities

• Train new Field Service Technicians in on-roof inspections and in-shop contractor training sessions.
• Report to the Technical Manager, Single Ply Systems, on trainee performance.
• Liaise with contracting community and perform quality assurance inspections.
• Prepare and conduct theory and hands-on training for Registered Contractors.
• Produce written inspection and QA reports for customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with distribution network on product education and promotion.
• Investigate warranty claims as needed.
• Attend association events to promote IKO products and participate in internal trainings.

People like you!**Job Description**The Lead Field Services Technician role is responsible for acting as the primary trainer for executing on-roof quality inspections and in-shop contractor training of new Technical Services staff, and as liaison with the contractor community for IKO’s new US commercial roofing division. The role acts as a quality control inspector to assure quality workmanship on IKO warrantied installations.
