Job summary

POWERX in the United States seeks a Field Service Technician (NETA 3) to lead projects, perform inspections, data collection and testing on de-energized equipment, and to set up and remove test gear while writing detailed reports.

The role requires mentoring technicians, strong safety awareness, and a background including a high school diploma or GED, with NETA Level 3 and 5+ years of experience preferred. Travel up to 50% and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school preferred.
• NETA certification level 3 preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.
• 5+ years of field service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Moderate/advanced electrical measurements and data collection.
• Lead and manage field service projects from start to finish.
• Supervise and mentor project co-lead technicians and field technicians.
• Write detailed test result reports and findings.
• Set up and remove test equipment; maintain safety and organization of work areas.
