Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 3) to lead project inspections, testing, and data collection for de-energized equipment. You will set up test gear, supervise technicians, and write detailed reports to support project delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical field service, OSHA/MSHA/NFPA 70-E certifications (plus CPR/First Aid). Travel up to 50% and a strong focus on safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in field service or related electrical work.
• Certifications such as OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate to advanced electrical measurements and testing.
• Lead and mentor technicians on projects from start to finish.
• Write detailed reports on test results and findings.
• Set up and remove test equipment; ensure proper handling and storage of equipment.
• Travel up to 50% and maintain safety and QA standards.
