Job summary

Plug Power Inc. in Baltimore, MD seeks a Lead Field Service Technician to support fuel cell systems in electric lift trucks. You will perform diagnostics, field retrofits, and software/hardware upgrades, while reporting incidents and maintaining service logs.

Travel to customer sites is required and strong communication with customers is essential. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and ongoing training, with a pay rate of $24.50–$25.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three (3) or more years of direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Must possess a valid driver license, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain the fleet.
• Provide emergency support and report breakdown events; order parts as needed.
• Travel to customer sites and communicate with stakeholders; complete service logs.
