Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Senior Field Engineer to oversee a small service center area and perform regular fieldwork in Dallas, TX. You will supervise field engineers, perform complex electrical testing, and lead turnkey projects with a focus on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include preparing proposals, scheduling, reporting, and billing, while engaging with clients to drive business development and service quality. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA and NFPA required.
• Experience with switchgear and equipment testing through 500-kV class.
• Ability to supervise large projects and manage client interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and assist field service engineers and technicians in the area.
• Perform complex troubleshooting, tests, inspections and appraisals on electrical systems.
• Lead turnkey projects including generator tests and substations commissioning.
• Prepare proposals, schedule fieldwork, and complete reports and billing.
