Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Lead Field Service Representative to join our team. This Texas-based role can be located in Austin, Corpus Christi, Lubbock, or San Antonio and involves travel with a company vehicle.

The ideal candidate has extensive field service experience in protective relay testing and commissioning, with a valid US driver’s license and compliance with safety policies. 40-hour base pay with overtime and travel premiums are provided.

Qualifications

Requires 5+ years of field service in protective relay testing and commissioning.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Resides within 50 miles of work location; no relocation.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Support customers across the power system lifecycle: startup, commissioning support, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and emergencies; identify and present sales opportunities.
Provide 24/7 on-call availability in field service engineering and technical support for electrical power distribution equipment.
Proficient in protective relay testing and commissioning on power distribution equipment; troubleshoot and operate test equipment.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, service shops, and other organizations.
Understand UL, NEMA, and NEC standards and generate service reports.
