Job summary

Eaton ES AMER ESS division seeks a Lead Field Service Representative to support customers across the power system lifecycle. The role is located in multiple Austin-area Texas sites and entails travel with a company vehicle.

Responsibilities include startup and commissioning support, 24/7 on-call field service, protective relay testing, and mentoring technicians. Strong standards knowledge and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

5+ years field service with protective relay testing/commissioning or 9+ years related experience
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
No relocation; reside within 50 miles of work location
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

Support customers across the power system lifecycle (startup, commissioning, maintenance, testing, upgrades) and identify sales opportunities
Provide 24/7 on-call field service and technical support for electrical power distribution equipment
Proficient in protective relay testing and commissioning; troubleshoot, operate test equipment, and understand safety requirements
Develop strong relationships with customers and service shops
Possess knowledge of UL, NEMA, NEC standards and generate accurate service reports
Mentor less experienced technicians and manage multiple projects
