Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Lead Field Service Representative to join our ES AMER ESS team. This role can be located in Austin, Corpus Christi, Lubbock, or San Antonio, TX and requires travel with a company vehicle.

The position involves providing 24/7 on‑call support, performing protective relay testing, and maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years field service performing protective relay testing on power equipment.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Reside within 50 miles of work location; military candidates exempt from geography rule.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support customers through power system lifecycle: startup, commissioning, maintenance, testing, and emergencies.
• Provide 24/7 on-call field service engineering and technical support.
• Proficient in protective relay testing, troubleshooting, and safety practices.
• Develop strong customer relationships and document service reports promptly.
• Travel within district/state/region/country as needed; mentor junior technicians.
