Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a senior field service leader to oversee a team of engineers supporting the New England region. This remote role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on troubleshooting, and proactive customer engagement to ensure top-tier service delivery.

You will drive workforce planning, manage schedules, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to exceed service KPIs while upholding safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BS or graduate degree in Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years with complex scientific instrumentation and troubleshooting.
• Experience leading and developing a team of engineers.
• Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and drive satisfaction.
• Experience managing schedules, parts inventory, and revenue objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of field service engineers.
• Coordinate daily service operations and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Oversee complex troubleshooting and repair of advanced systems.
• Monitor service KPIs, performance metrics, and quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support operational goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Support workforce planning, scheduling, and territory management.
