Job summary

Opifex-Synergy in Texas is seeking a Field Service Coordinator to lead a team of field technicians, deliver excellent customer service, and drive maintenance and repair of construction equipment.

You will hire, train, and develop technicians, dispatch to sites, manage work orders, monitor safety, and build strong relationships with customers while collaborating with the operations team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year technical certificate or college degree in a related field optional with relevant experience.
• 5 years of experience in service management for heavy equipment or similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct a team of Field Technicians, providing leadership and support to optimize performance.
• Dispatch field technicians to job sites to meet service demands.
• Assist the Director of Operations in managing service-related tasks and efficiency.
• Supervise opening/closing of work orders for accurate tracking.
• Monitor training progress and schedule on-site/off-site sessions.
• Ensure technicians follow safety policies; enforce disciplinary actions as needed.
• Provide guidance to technicians to resolve customer issues promptly.
• Foster strong customer relationships through high-quality service and communication.
• Collaborate with your manager to meet service metrics and improve delivery.
• Log service calls, create POs, and order parts to maintain records.
