Job summary

Opifex-Synergy in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Field Technician to manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks for heavy equipment. You will diagnose errors, perform preventive maintenance, and deliver detailed service reports to ensure safe, reliable operation and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include field visits, regular travel to job sites, staying compliant with safety protocols, and coordinating with the Service Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Proven field service experience.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment to ensure proper working condition on job site or in shop.
• Performs routine equipment clean-up, safety reviews, and pre-delivery inspections.
• Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, and services heavy equipment and completes paperwork.
• Provide service and customer support during field visits and dispatches.
• Communicates with customers to ensure top-quality equipment and satisfaction.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
