Job summary

Opifex‑Synergy is seeking a Field Technician to manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks for heavy equipment. You will diagnose errors, provide customer support during field visits, and tie workflow to the schedule.

Ideal candidates have extensive diesel engine knowledge, proven field service experience, and own tools. Travel to job sites and training locations is required; valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Proven field service experience.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment on the job site or in the shop.
• Performs routine equipment cleaning and safety inspections.
• Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, and adjusts heavy equipment as required.
• Communicates with customers to ensure top-quality equipment and service.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
