Job summary

Opifex-Synergy is seeking a Field Technician for its Pump division to lead on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of heavy equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform test tasks, and provide exceptional customer support during field visits and dispatches.

The role requires extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment, proven field service experience, and the ability to work flexible shifts across multiple job sites.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
• Proven field service experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment on-site or in the shop.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
• Coordinate with Service Manager and customers during field visits.
• Travel to job sites for service and training.
