Job summary

Sunrun Installation Services Inc. is seeking a Field Performance Technician 3 in Hawaii to perform advanced troubleshooting and service diagnostics. This role also trains and develops other field personnel and requires a valid Journeyman license or equivalent.

You will work with leadership to allocate labor for service and warranty work, train teams, and drive safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in a dynamic solar installation environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 3+ years field construction experience; 1+ year as service technician in solar industry preferred.
• Valid state/local Electrical Journeyman license or equivalent per local/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and maintain warranty and service schedule.
• Collaborate with Foreman, Supervisor and Branch Manager to allocate labor for service and warranty projects.
• Assist with training for Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians.
• Lead regular meetings to train the local field service team on best practices.
• Support onboarding and training of new field performance team members.
• Exceed field performance KPIs such as turnaround time and dispatches completed.
• Conduct inspections and site audits as assigned.
