Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Inspections Manager to lead a team of inspectors across a major rail project in Secaucus, NJ. You will ensure field QA/QC, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery on a high-profile, national infrastructure program.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, reviewing inspection results, coordinating with contractors and utilities, and supporting close-out activities, with a focus on safety and quality on a complex transportation project.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of heavy highway, bridge, and roadway construction inspection experience; minimum 3 years in supervision.
• Ability to read complex engineering plans and contract documents; proficient with project documentation software.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of construction inspectors, providing technical guidance.
• Perform field visits and QA/QC reviews of inspection staff.
• Ensure compliance with contract plans, specifications, standards, permits and codes.
• Review inspector documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve field issues and monitor schedules.
• Promote safety practices and quality standards; support project close-out activities.
