Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Project Manager Software Administration to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project, reviewing construction work plans and reporting on environmental permitting requirements. As part of the Delivery Partner, you will help deliver this nationally significant infrastructure program that expands rail capacity and resilience for NY/NJ, with impact across millions of travelers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology or a closely related discipline.
• 3–5 years of prior experience performing construction site inspections.
• Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of construction as it relates to environmental compliance.
• Support contract administration of environmental/remediation programs including tracking schedules and tonnages of soils.
• Prepare daily activity reports and interpret scientific data and specifications.
• Conduct environmental screenings, site assessments, and impact analyses for civil works and construction projects.
• Track projects through the NEPA and environmental permitting lifecycles.
• Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance on environmental regulations, permit requirements, and compliance strategies.
• Support environmental compliance programs, stormwater management, and construction environmental controls.
• Review Environmental Protection Plans and verify compliance during all phases of work.
• Maintain site approval packages and required documentation with installation personnel.
• Maintain regulatory reporting requirements and performance metrics.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams on multiple task orders.
