Job summary

Arcadis in Paramus, New Jersey is seeking a Material Inspector for the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project. In this role, you'll ensure materials meet quality standards and specifications while leading inspections and testing documentation.

You will work closely with the project team, manage quality documentation, and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle. The position offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $149,000 along with comprehensive benefits including health, 401K, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in materials inspection or testing, preferably in large infrastructure or transportation projects.
• Familiarity with materials testing procedures, QA/QC processes, and construction documentation.
• Certification in materials inspection or testing (e.g., ACI, NICET) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify all construction materials for compliance with approved specifications.
• Coordinate materials testing under the Project Contract.
• Maintain records of inspections, tests, and decisions.
• Support preparation of quality documentation and reporting.
• Assist in the close-out process by verifying that materials meet project requirements.
