Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Foreperson to supervise daily crew operations and coordinate with management to enforce safety and training standards. The role includes planning, assigning work, and communicating with property owners to obtain access and manage issues.

The ideal candidate will have a CDL, strong leadership, and the ability to work in field conditions, with a focus on safety and efficient crew performance.

Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Capability to work with minimal supervision in the field.
• Valid CDL and ability to drive an approved company vehicle.”
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies, conducts safety training.
• Discusses access and scope with property owners and coordinates with General Foreperson.
• Obtains permissions from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains good customer relations and reports on crew performance and incidents.
• Keeps records, timesheets, and reports related to crew operations.
• Controls crew costs and efficient use of people-power and equipment.
• Furnishes reports on orders completed, time, and materials.
