Job summary

Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. The Area Lead Modules Field Engineer leads field installation, coordination with Construction, Engineering, Startup, and Quality to achieve turnover readiness and mechanical completion.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8–10 years of related experience (or 12–14 years without degree); strong leadership, problem solving, and experience with modular construction and field packaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline and 8–10 years of experience; or 12–14 years of industry experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for module assembly, installation, and field completion per turnover from the OSM Turnover Manager.
• Develop and manage module assembly, completion, and turnover plans to support milestones.
• Coordinate module receipt, inspection, and readiness for installation with Construction, Logistics, Materials Management, and Quality teams.
• Lead resolution of field punch items, carryover work, and design changes affecting scope.
• Manage field engineering support for module setting and interfaces with structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, HVAC, and process systems.
• Ensure packages and testing plans meet project procedures and turnover requirements.
