Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a highly motivated Field Applications Manager in Irvine to lead a team of 8+ Semiconductor Test Applications Engineers. You will collaborate with regional Sales to win design-ins, ensure strategic goals are met, and drive customer satisfaction.

You will recruit and develop talent, coordinate cross-functional resources, and travel domestically and internationally as needed. Strong leadership and programming in C#, C++, or Visual Basic are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with ATE equipment such as Teradyne UltraFlex/UltraFlexPlus or Advantest V93K.
• BSEE or related field or equivalent work experience required.
• Strong programming experience in C#, C++ or Visual Basic.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 8+ Semiconductor Test Applications Engineers in Irvine.
• Collaborate with regional Sales to develop and execute account strategies to win design-ins and increase market share.
• Ensure oversight to guarantee technical, schedule, financial and strategic goals are met.
• Develop and lead a world-class team of semiconductor test professionals and provide direction to the team.
• Recruit, hire, manage, assess, support, and develop team members.
• Plan and develop future needed skills and integrate technical resources for customer success.
• Train and ensure compliance with policies and best practices within team.
• Build and sustain relationships with customers' key technical decision makers.
