Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a highly motivated Field Applications Engineer to join our global team. You will work with customers to develop test solutions for Digital, High-Speed Digital, SoC, Mixed Signal and Analog devices using our ATE platforms.

The role involves test program software development, load board/probe card reviews, optimizing customer throughput, and training customers on tester operation. Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally; a strong hardware/software background is

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
5–8 years of semiconductor testing experience and hands-on IC testing development.
Experience with ATE platforms for digital, high-speed digital, mixed-signal or analog testing.

Responsibilities

Develop, debug and deploy test solutions for semiconductor devices.
Test program software development in a collaborative environment.
Review load board/probe card schematics and layout for test solutions.
Analyze problems and optimize throughput on Teradyne ATE platforms.
Provide customer training and technical exchanges on tester operation and capability.
Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
