Job summary

Network Connex is seeking a Foreman to lead construction of aerial and underground fiber optic facilities, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery in demanding field environments. You’ll supervise crews, coordinate materials, and operate heavy equipment to install handholes, manholes, and ducts.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to travel weekends for project coverage across sites in Texas.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
1–3 years of supervisory experience.
Must pass pre‑employment background and drug screening.
Valid driver’s license and driving record per company requirements.
Ability to travel away from home, including weekends.
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to the crew from project start to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and timelines.
Review documentation with the crew to prepare for the build and determine installation methods.
Supervise tracking of on-site inventory and materials.
Collect, review, and submit all on-site closeout documentation per timelines.
Train crew members on proper safety/quality standards.
Verify crew certifications and skillsets for the scope of work.
Maintain issued equipment and report deficiencies.
Submit daily progress reports noting schedule delays and material needs.
