Job summary

Forged Fiber in Salt Lake City is seeking a Supervisor to oversee Fiber Technicians and guide splicing activities across diverse fiber infrastructure. The role focuses on executing strategic plans, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while supporting expansion initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years supervising teams in a telecom environment.
• Experience with splicing/construction processes in telecom.
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead and support a team in a technical environment.
• Oversee splicing and construction activities to ensure safe, efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
• Prepare and review project plans and specifications aligned with regional goals.
• Ensure safety standards and proper equipment operation; oversee maintenance of gear.
• Provide technical guidance on designs, new technologies and service implementations.
• Manage employee cost analyses to support accurate engineering estimates and financial decisions.
• Ensure plans align with business strategy and support scalable network growth.
• Lead teams with objective setting, performance management, and training.
• Represent Forged Fiber professionally with customers and governmental agencies.
