Job summary

Dobson Fiber is seeking a Fiber Splicer Lead to guide a field team in installing, maintaining, and repairing fiber optic networks across Oklahoma City and surrounding areas.

You will oversee splicing, testing, and troubleshooting, ensure safety and standards, coordinate with project managers, and manage material inventories while mentoring technicians. Candidates should have leadership experience and a strong knowledge of fiber optics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of fiber optic splicing experience, with leadership exposure.
• High school diploma; technical fiber optics certification preferred.
• Must be able to travel to multiple sites and work in varying environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a field team of fiber splicers to complete installations and repairs.
• Perform splicing, termination, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber cables.
• Ensure safety, standards compliance, and meticulous documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to meet timelines.
• Maintain splicing materials and equipment inventory.
